What Our Residents Say

"The Hope Shelter has been a great help to me in my life. The shelter has offered me a place to be safe and secure and not have to be homeless. The people at the shelter have been good to me and helped when I needed it the most. I am grateful that I have had a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes to wear and they have even provided MARTA cards when I needed transportation. The Hope Shelter is such a jewel to the families in Clayton County. This is a very clean place with people who care and accept you for who you are. They also help connect you to other services that you may need to get back on your feet. I am so glad that I found Hope at the Hope Shelter."

Thankful for Hope

"In life you may get thrown curve balls and things don’t go your way. This is what happened to me, and I found myself needing the services of an emergency shelter. I was blessed to find my way to the Hope Shelter. This is a great place with caring staff. There are not a lot of places in Clayton for single women needing assistance with housing and I am so glad that the Hope Shelter exists for people like me. They really helped me to locate services and other programs that were able to help me as well. I really think all the staff and residents were also wonderful."
